Program Details for Study Abroad Advisers
Encourage your students to fast track their career prospects and equip them with a competitive
edge. They can gain an international placement and valuable cultural immersion through Global Internship Services, a highly
reputable educational provider in Australia. We have been designing and facilitating high quality internships for
AustraLearn: Centre for Australian Studies
since 1994 and continue to do so.
We can develop an education partnership with your institution too, providing your students (individually or in small groups)
with high quality internships. We have a proven track record of meeting the accreditation criteria of many tertiary institutions.
Indeed, a large part of customising internship placements is the need to fulfil accreditation criteria from various
institutions that, understandably, want to ensure that standards for academic credit are met.

Academic Credit
We always liaise with the interns' academic supervisors and institutions to ensure placements meet your institutions'
standards and these are closely monitored throughout the internship. We conduct extensive and thorough research to ensure
that placements exactly match your institution's accreditation guidelines.
Academic Supervision
All our placements include an appropriately qualified practising professional supervising the internship. In 99% of cases, this
level of supervision is sufficient for the issuing of academic credit from the interns' home institution. However, before they
will award credit for an internship, a few tertiary institutions require a suitably qualified Professor from a local University
to supervise an intern's progress as well. In this case we would need to recruit a suitable local academic, submit their
qualifications to your institution for approval, and arrange for their supervision of the internship (as often as stipulated,
but usually only weekly or monthly). This is the only time when we would charge an extra academic supervision fee, which is
US$180 per hour.
