Refund Policy

The US$500 "deposit" for your internship consists of two parts.
a. A non-refundable administration fee of US$100.
b. A deposit of US$400 paid to confirm that you wish us to proceed with your application.

If you cancel your internship after paying this US$400 deposit, but before you accept an internship placement offer, then you are entitled to a refund of US$250 of the US$400 deposit.

If you cancel your internship after you accept an internship placement offer, you are not entitled to a refund of any part of the US$400 deposit.

In the very unlikely event that GIS is unable to find the placement that meets your educational specifications, or if the Australian Department of Immigration refuses to issue you with a visa to undertake your internship, the full deposit of US$400 will be refunded to you.

The balance of your internship fees will be due 28 days before your internship start date. If you cancel your internship after paying the full fee, only the accommodation portion of your fee will be refundable.
