How to Apply

• Read the material contained on this website carefully.
• Download and complete an Application form.
• Add a resumé outlining your educational qualifications, work experience and volunteer experience. This resumé will be shown to prospective placement providers, so make it a one page, professional document that shows what your experience and skills are.
• Add your current or recent academic transcript.
• If you are seeking academic credit from your home institution, provide the accreditation guidelines.
• Add two letters of recommendation - preferably one from an employer and one from your academic advisor.
• Write a personal statement outlining your learning objectives for this internship (maximum one page).
• Get a US$500 bank cheque or International money order issued in the name of Global Internship Services. If you would prefer to pay in Euro or Australian currency, please let us know.
• If you wish to apply online, email your completed application package to us as a pdf. On receipt of your emailed application, we will provide you with our bank details for direct deposit of funds; or
• Post or submit your complete application to the address listed on the Application Form. (Make sure we receive it 3 months before you plan to arrive.)

When your completed application is received, an internship coordinator will contact you to begin the process of finding a suitable placement, and arranging all the other details of your internship.
