Insurance

You will need to have your own Health and Accident Insurance. If you plan to use your family's insurance policy, please check that you will be covered outside your home country. GIS can help you organize insurance if you need us to.

We strongly recommend that you purchase Travel Insurance and add on Personal Liability Insurance. These three types of insurance are usually available in Travel Insurance packages offered by all travel agents. Talk to your agent about this. It is best if you are covered for loss of baggage, illness and accident (in case you hurt yourself), and Personal Liability insurance (in case you accidentally hurt someone else).
